VISUAL ARTS
Visual Arts - #42001 The visual arts project area emphasizes the principles and elements of art and design. Members may select from a variety of mediums to practice and explore their art skills. Art mediums to choose from include sculpture, ceramics, weaving, drawing, painting and glass. Unit 1 members will practice the elements of design (line, shape, color, texture, and space), study a famous artist, and select at least one art medium to explore. Unit 2 members will practice the principles of design (rhythm, proportion, emphasis, balance, and unity), study a famous artist and select at least one art medium to explore.
