Citizenship Washington Focus - (CWF)

CWF is a 4-H leadership program for high school youth, ages 15-19, from across the country. Every summer thousands of young people stay at the National 4-H Conference Center, near Washington, D.C., to participate in this week-long program. We will accomplish the above through: Participants in Citizenship Washington Focus will have unique, exciting experiences that will lead to becoming "Better Citizens Today. Better Leaders Tomorrow".

Wyoming sends a delegation to CWF in June. Dates are determined in the late fall (check the "4-H Events" section for current dates). The total cost ranges from $1,200 to $1,500. Applications are available from your county 4-H office.

The Wyoming delegation is lead by up to three Wyoming 4-H volunteer adult leaders. Wyoming 4-H volunteer adult leaders who are interested must fill out an application form (available in the "Out of State Trips" section and be a Wyoming screened 4-H leaders (check out the "Wyoming Leader Certification" section for details). Applications are due in the State 4-H Office by February 29th.
