State 4-H Leadership TeamBecky Martinez
My name is Becky Martinez and I am 18 years old. I have been a member of Uinta County 4-H for seven years and I have loved every minute of it. I participated in Vegetable Judging for three years and our county team won the state contest in 2004. I have been a Junior Leader since I was 14, and have helped plan, organize, and participate in many of our county events. I love working with the younger members and hope that all of them will choose to stay active in 4-H. I am a senior at Evanston High School and I plan to attend Casper Community College in the fall, where I will study Health Sciences. Throughout High School, I have been involved in many activities, including National Hispanic Honor Society, Science Olympiad, and I am the 2006-2007 Yearbook Editor-in-Chief. After school I work at Evanston Child Development Center and I love children. I also love being involved in 4-H at the State level and I encourage each and every one of you to look into it. It is a great opportunity. I am so excited for this year, and I can't wait to meet all of you!
